I have always loved clothing and jewelry. One of my favorite books as a child was a book called, “Mary Changes Her Clothes,” about a girl who could never make up her mind about what to wear.
For many years I dressed the way I thought I should. Always “appropriate.” I still enjoyed dressing, but always felt slightly uncomfortable.
Whether it is intentional or not, everything we wear says something about who we are, and at some point, I realized I was not presenting my whole self with my style. My personality is a crazy mix, yet all authentic.
Dirty Hair and Diamonds was born to celebrate our whole selves through style, in whatever way feels good to you!
